Blue Lotus at Mother Earth
Blue Lotus (Nymphaea caerulea) is one of those plants people discover for all sorts of reasons: the flowers themselves, the history behind them, or an interest in making room for a quieter personal ritual. We keep the different formats clearly labelled so you know what you're choosing.
Not sure which Blue Lotus to choose?
Start with the format. There's no need to buy the biggest pouch if a smaller one suits you.
Want both petals and tincture?
Our 28g Petals + 30ml Tincture Bundle is €37. Prefer the larger flower pouch? The 50g Flowers & Tincture Set is €50. Both formats are supplied separately within each bundle and have their own directions.
Mithula, Ruwan and Mala: the people behind our flowers
Our dried Blue Lotus flowers and petals come to us from the Matale region of Sri Lanka through Mithula, who we've worked with for years. He works alongside growers Ruwan and Mala, a couple raising their family while growing, gathering and preparing the flowers by hand. Knowing some of the people behind our botanicals is important to me, and I think it's worth sharing their story.
The name Egyptian Blue Lotus refers to the plant's historical association with Egypt, not to the origin of our Sri Lankan flowers. Our bottled tincture comes through a separate long-standing supplier, Ivy in China, and is a different preparation.
