It connects the facilitation training with the practical side of actually getting started: pricing circles, understanding costs, finding customers, approaching studios and venues, collaborations, marketing, product resale and building other realistic income streams around your work.

We’ll use it alongside the later business part of the course so you can take what you learn about cacao and turn it into a clear, manageable practitioner offering.

In-person training — Saturday 7 November 2026

The in-person training takes place at No.6 Wellness Studio, New Ross, Co. Wexford. Start and finish times to be confirmed with enrolled participants.

This is where we take what you’ve learned online into the room. We’ll practise together, work in a group setting, answer questions as they come up and give you space to build real confidence facilitating cacao with others.

Can’t make 7 November? We plan to run further one-day practitioner training dates in Ireland during 2027, with dates and locations TBC. You can also choose the online-only pathway now and add an in-person day later.

What you’ll learn

We’ll take you through preparing and serving cacao, creating and holding a cacao circle, opening and closing a space, ritual, meditation and somatic practice, working with groups and developing a way of facilitating that feels natural to you. We’ll also cover the practical side of shaping your own cacao offering.

Who you’ll be learning with

Katie Duggan brings her experience across cacao, Reiki, yoga, coaching and spiritual practice, with a focus on holding space, confidence and developing your own style of facilitation.

Garrett Grace brings the practical business side through hands-on experience building Mother Earth, working directly with cacao suppliers and producers, product development, wholesale, retail, pricing, sales, marketing and business support.

Your certificate & insurance

On successful completion, you’ll receive a Cacao Facilitator certificate through Mother Earth Wellness, Wellness with Katie and No.6 Wellness Studio.

The training can be used when applying for cacao facilitator insurance. Insurance is arranged separately and remains subject to the individual insurer’s terms and approval.

Choosing cacao for your own practice

This course is about learning the preparation and facilitation skills, not selling you one particular cacao brand. You can explore Keith’s Cacao from Guatemala, Amma cacao from India and the other Mother Earth cacao origins to understand how products and sourcing stories differ.

Katie and Garrett deliver this course through Mother Earth Wellness. For group and studio needs, practitioner supply and trade enquiries are separate options, with brand-specific availability confirmed before ordering.

Beyond the course

Once you complete the training, you’ll have access to practitioner pricing on selected Mother Earth products for your own cacao work, along with opportunities to resell selected products if that suits what you’re building.

We don’t promise specific jobs or income, but we do want the course to give you a genuine pathway to keep developing afterwards.
