No.6 in New Ross: A Lovely Local Connection
There's something lovely about walking into a small local business and meeting the person behind it. Having a chat, getting to know what they do and maybe sharing a cup of cacao along the way.
That's one of the reasons I wanted to share a little more about No.6 The Wellness Studio on John Street in New Ross.
A little about Katie and No.6
No.6 is Katie Duggan's own studio. Katie runs Wellness with Katie and has created a space for yoga, Reiki, breathwork, workshops and all sorts of classes and gatherings.
Other practitioners bring their own work into the studio too, so there's always something different happening. You can check No.6 on Instagram for what's coming up.
Katie and I work together on our Cacao Facilitator Training. She brings her experience of teaching, breathwork and holding space, while I bring my love of cacao, sourcing and helping people build something of their own.
Mother Earth at No.6
Katie also stocks a changing selection of Mother Earth products at the studio, including Just Cacao, Blue Lotus dried botanicals and other bits from the range. You can see Katie's online shop or ask her what's currently available in person.
I love that people can pop in, see some of the products and have a proper conversation rather than everything happening through a screen.
Running a small business can be a lonely enough road at times. Having good people around you, supporting each other and sharing ideas makes a real difference.
A little more local connection
Being based in Wexford, I'd love to see Mother Earth become more connected with independent businesses and communities across the southeast of Ireland, starting close to home in New Ross, Wexford town, Waterford and South Kilkenny, and growing those connections across the rest of Ireland and beyond.
Whether that's a health shop stocking a few products, a yoga teacher or Reiki practitioner looking to offer something new, or a local school or GAA club organising an event or fundraiser, I'm always happy to have a chat.

For me, it's not just about selling products. It's about getting to know people, supporting one another and building something good locally.
