Our Gotu Kola comes through my friend Mithula in Sri Lanka, who has helped us build the Sri Lankan botanical side of Mother Earth.

Gotu Kola (Centella asiatica) has a long history in Ayurveda and traditional herbal use across Asia. The flavour is naturally green, earthy and slightly bitter.

How to prepare

Add around 1 teaspoon to a cup or teapot, pour over freshly boiled water and steep for 5–10 minutes. Strain and enjoy. If it is new to you, start gently.
