About the cacao

Our Sur del Lago cacao comes from Venezuela, an origin known for rich, rounded cacao flavour. Prepare it on its own or add a little rose powder when you want something softer and more floral.

About the rose

The rose petal powder is made from dried rose petals and has a naturally floral taste and aroma. A small amount goes a long way in cacao, tea, yoghurt, baking or desserts.

How to make rose cacao

1. Chop or shave around 20–25g cacao.
2. Warm around 200ml water or milk without aggressively boiling it.
3. Add the cacao and whisk until smooth.
4. Add a small amount of rose powder to taste and whisk again.

Start lightly with the rose. You can always add more.
