GAA, Schools and Community Events: What Could We Do Together?
A lot of good local events are organised by people giving up their own time. It's the club committee sorting a fundraiser after work, the teacher thanking colleagues, or a small community group putting together something for volunteers.
If Mother Earth can be a useful part of something like that, Tell me what you're organising and we'll see whether there's a suitable option.
First, what's the occasion?
A GAA club raffle, a school staff thank-you and a community wellbeing programme are three different things. Who is the audience? What date is it? Is there a budget for prizes or gifts? Our Community, Voluntary & Local Organisations page is the starting point for that discussion.
Keep gifts appropriate
For adults, a gift set, a mug, a journal or a clearly labelled herbal tea can make sense. If the audience includes children or young people, adult-focused products such as supplements, Shilajit and specialist botanicals are not appropriate. We should look at the age group and the organisation's own safeguarding and purchasing policies before proposing anything.
Fundraisers aren't automatic sponsorship
If your club or organisation is running a raffle, tell us the audience, approximate budget and deadline. We can explore suitable products or a practical collaboration where it makes sense. Getting in touch isn't a promise of free products, donations or sponsorship.
What if you have a funded programme?
Some organisations have a budget for volunteer gifts, a staff event or a wellbeing project. Others work with qualified practitioners who run suitable adult sessions. In the latter case, the practitioner page may be the right next step. Any professional services, safeguarding and health responsibilities remain with the provider and organisation.
A regular retail order for a shop or studio is different again. That's what the Wholesale & Trade page is for.
Just tell me what you're planning
Message through the community page with the group, county, event date and what you're looking for. I'm based in Wexford and have a particular interest in building genuine local connections, but we also work with customers and organisations elsewhere in Ireland.
It doesn't need to be a polished proposal. A few clear details are enough to see whether there's a sensible fit.
For a school staff gift, club raffle or volunteer thank-you with an agreed budget, our Christmas gift page shows the current mugs, journals, tea, gift boxes and vouchers. Just remember that adult wellness products aren't suitable for children's gifts.
