Cacao Facilitator Training: Online or In Person in New Ross?

Some people learn perfectly well from home. Others understand the material but don't feel confident until they've actually prepared cacao with a group and practised holding the space. That's why Katie Duggan and I offer more than one route through our Cacao Facilitator Training.

Online only, €397

The online course is self-paced and covers cacao preparation, planning a circle, guiding groups and developing your own facilitation style. It's suitable for people who need flexibility, including learners joining from outside Ireland. You'll also get the practical business teaching and the Practitioner Business Guide.

Online plus the New Ross day, €497

The combined training includes the online course and one in-person day with us at No.6 Wellness Studio in New Ross, Co. Wexford. It's an opportunity to prepare cacao, work with other students, ask questions and try things in a real room. Check the current course listing for the confirmed date and attendance information.

Already enrolled online?

You don't need to buy the full course again. If you want to join a suitable practical day, the €100 add-on is the route for existing online students.

The business bit matters too

Both full programmes include the Practitioner Business Guide at no extra charge. It costs €39 separately and looks at pricing, venues, customers, costs, marketing and what it takes to build something sustainable.

Before hosting a paid event, I'd read how much cacao to prepare for a group and the costs of running a first cacao circle. Those ordinary questions are just as important as the ritual side.

Which would I choose?

If travelling is difficult, the online programme is a proper starting point. If you know you benefit from practising with people, I'd seriously consider the New Ross day. Neither path guarantees clients or income. Training is a foundation you build upon.

The aim is to become comfortable with what you're doing and find an approach that feels like yours, not to copy how Katie or I do things. Our practitioner network explains the longer-term support and supply side when you're ready.
