About Mother Earth Wellness

Hi, I’m Garrett. Mother Earth started with my own interest in ceremonial cacao. What began as Just Cacao has grown into a little more over the years, but cacao is still at the heart of it.

Today we’re an independent Irish wellness business based in Wexford, bringing together ceremonial cacao, matcha, tea, botanicals and a wider range of carefully chosen products.

For me, it’s never just been about putting products on a shelf. It’s about the people who grow and make them, the customers who keep coming back and the conversations that happen along the way.

A bit about my background

I’ve been selling food supplements since 2009, long before Mother Earth came along. Over the years my interest in wellness grew into ceremonial cacao and working with people directly. I’m a trained cacao facilitator and have also completed Reiki Levels 1 and 2 and Rahanni Level 1. You can read more about our practitioner community and cacao facilitator training.

From Wexford to wherever you are

We send orders all over Ireland, including Dublin, Cork, Galway, Limerick and Waterford. Tracked delivery within Ireland usually takes 1–2 working days after dispatch. We ship to many destinations outside Ireland too, although delivery times depend on where you are and we’re not currently shipping to the USA. You can check the options at checkout.

People and places matter

Our cacao comes from places including Guatemala, Venezuela, Ecuador and India, and we source other products through relationships in countries such as Sri Lanka and China. Some producers we know more directly than others, and I’d rather tell those stories properly than pretend every product has the same journey.

I want you to feel comfortable asking where something comes from or whether it’s right for you. If I don’t know the answer, I’ll say so.

We also work with independent Irish health shops and other small retailers. You can read more about our wholesale and trade offering.

Growing beyond cacao

Mother Earth has also become a way to connect with holistic practitioners, wellness studios, independent shops and cafés. Alongside the shop, Katie Duggan and I work together on cacao facilitator training in New Ross and online.

There’s a wholesale and trade side for businesses too, but I still want Mother Earth to feel like a small, approachable Irish business, even as it grows.

If you're just finding your feet with cacao, I've put together a free cacao beginner's guide. It's an easy place to start and you're very welcome in our community too.

If you have a question about cacao, an order or anything on the site, you can message me directly on WhatsApp. I’ll get back to you when I can.

There’s a lovely community following along on Instagram @motherearth.ie. I’m grateful for everyone who shares a post, sends a message or places an order. You can also chat with me on WhatsApp if you need a hand.

Thanks for being here

Have a look around the cacao range, read our guides and stories, or get in touch if you need a hand. There are real people behind this business and I’d like to keep it that way.

Whether you’re ordering your first bag of cacao, looking for something for yourself or stocking products in your shop, you’re welcome to message me on WhatsApp. I’m happy to help where I can.

Closer to home, we also work with Katie Duggan at No.6 The Wellness Studio in New Ross. Katie owns and runs the studio independently, stocks selected Mother Earth products and collaborates with us on cacao training. It's one of the ways our work reaches beyond the website into real local connections.
