The Rose Collection

Rose has been part of Mother Earth for a long time. Some people come looking for a lovely floral tea. Others want a little rose in their cacao, something for a gift, or a quiet personal ritual. There isn't one way you're meant to use everything here.

The rose petals come through our sourcing relationships in Sri Lanka, including our work with Mithula. Our Bulgarian Rose Tincture is made for us by Ivanka. The rose-infused Guatemalan cacao has its own story too. I like keeping the people and the origin visible alongside the products.

Rose petals and tea

These are the loose, food-use rose petals in our tea range. The flavour is delicate and floral rather than sugary. Choose Rose Petal Tea 28g if you're starting out, Rose Petal Tea 50g for a larger pouch, or the reusable rose tea bags for a simpler cup. Follow the current pack directions for preparation.

Rose powder

Rose Petal Powder 70g is the finely milled format. A small amount can give food-use cacao, lattes or baking a light floral note where the label directions allow. You can try it in our Venezuelan Cacao & Rose Powder bundle, or have a look at the Rose Petal Face Mask, Gua Sha & Roller set for a different type of personal ritual. Patch-test skin preparations and follow their specific instructions.

Bulgarian Rose Tincture

The 30ml Bulgarian Rose Tincture is made for Mother Earth by our friend Ivanka in Bulgaria. It's a separate prepared botanical product, not the same as dried petals or food-use rose powder. Check the bottle for its intended use and directions. We also have a powder and tincture duo, 50g petals and tincture duo, and 28g petals and tincture duo. Each format keeps its own directions.

Cacao and rose

For me, cacao and rose are mainly a lovely flavour pairing. Rose adds something floral to the depth of pure cacao, without needing to promise a particular mood or experience.

• Rose Infused Ceremonial Cacao 100g, Guatemalan cacao blended with rose petal powder and vanilla
• Venezuelan Cacao & Rose Powder, for mixing a floral cup yourself
• Cahabón Cacao & Rose Tincture Duo, with the two products and their own guidance
• Cacao & Rose Ritual Duo and Cacao + Rose Ritual Set, simple ways to explore the pairing
• Entre Nubes Cacao & Rose bundle and Venezuelan Cacao & Rose bundle
• Rose, Tincture & Amma LOVE Trio, three individual products in one set

When making cacao to drink, only add ingredients expressly labelled for food use. A bottled tincture or a cosmetic or essential oil shouldn't go into a drink unless that exact product is intended and labelled for it. You can read our simple cacao and rose recipe for the food-use rose powder option.

Rose gifts and ready-made pairings

There's also a selection of rose-led gifts: the Gratitude Cacao Gift Box, Seeds of Gratitude, Four Elements Cacao Gift Box and Mother Earth Self-Care Gift Box. The boxes differ, so check the current listing for what's inside.

Or you can browse the Rose & Chamomile set, Rose, Chamomile & Butterfly Pea tea set, Rose Tea & Cat Mug set, and Rose Tincture & Lavender Spray duo. The collection's product grid below includes even more rose pairings.

Rose learning with Katie Duggan

If you're interested in rose as part of your own reflective practice, Katie's Rose Healing Method Level 1 with Reiki Level 1 is a self-paced online course. It includes guided audio, rose-inspired ritual, reflection and Reiki learning. You don't need to buy any Rose products to take the course.

People sometimes describe a personal rose practice as heart-centred or heart-opening. That's symbolic language about reflection and intention, not a claim that rose, Reiki or cacao can treat health problems or heal emotional conditions. Katie's rose course is also different from our Cacao Facilitator Training, which teaches cacao preparation, group facilitation and practical business skills.

If you're a health-shop owner, salon or practitioner considering a small rose range, take a look at Health Shops & Independent Retailers, Salons & Beauty Businesses or the wider Practitioners & Wellness Studios pathway. Trade availability depends on the individual product, so don't assume every rose item or course is available for wholesale.

And if you're not sure what suits you, send me a message. I'm happy to help you find the right format without overcomplicating it. Garrett, Mother Earth Wellness.

Where our rose comes from

Our different rose products have different sourcing stories. Read about our connections in Sri Lanka, Bulgaria and Guatemala, including Mithula, Ivanka and the cacao used in our rose-infused blend.
