Christmas Retail for Irish Health Shops and Studios: Start Small
October is a good time to think about Christmas if you run a small shop or studio. Not because everyone needs to panic-buy gifts now, but because you've a chance to work out what will fit on your shelves before December gets busy.
When I'm talking to an independent business, I try to understand the customer first. A health shop, a yoga studio and a gift shop all need a slightly different Christmas offer. There's no point ordering twelve of something simply because the box looks festive.
Start with gifts that don't need a long explanation
For a small counter or gift shelf, I would look at Amma cacao bars, grippy socks where the audience fits, rose petal tea, and simple mugs or journals. Larger gift boxes can sit alongside those for customers looking to spend more.
The Mother Earth Christmas guide is our public overview. It helps you see what the buyer will read, not just a catalogue of names.
Clearance needs its own place
Our current discounted mushroom gummies are marked best before November 2026. That's useful information for someone choosing to buy and use them now, but not a reason to tuck them into a December gift box. Older ACV clearance has an April 2026 best-before date. If you're reselling any dated food or supplements, confirm the batch, permitted sale conditions, safety and transparent customer notice first.
We explain the differences in our gummy date and format guide. I would keep a clearly marked dated-offer shelf separate from the fresh gift selection.
Vouchers and experiences aren't ordinary wholesale stock
Mother Earth and Wellness with Katie each have their own gift voucher. They're not interchangeable and aren't automatically available on trade terms. The same goes for Reiki sessions, Rahanni recordings and training courses; those are distinct offerings with their own delivery arrangements. See our voucher and experience guide.
A small starter range can be enough
If you're opening a Christmas shelf, choose a few suitable items, work out the real profit after VAT, fees and delivery, and plan where you'll display them. Dates and stock rotation matter more than how many festive stickers you can add.
For buying and commercial arrangements, the Health Shops page, Practitioner & Studio page and Wholesale & Trade overview explain how to get in touch.
Tell me the business, your customers and roughly what you want to spend. We'll see what's actually suitable rather than sending you an enormous catalogue and hoping for the best.
