Using Your Cup Safely

Use with warm drinks only. Never pour boiling water or boiling drinks directly into the cup. Allow your cacao or tea to cool to a comfortable sipping temperature before pouring.

Copper conducts heat quickly, so the cup will become warm and may become hot to touch. Place it on a stable, heat-resistant surface and handle carefully. Adult use only and keep away from children while in use.

Avoid strongly acidic drinks such as citrus or fruit juice, fizzy drinks, kombucha and wine. The cup is designed for serving drinks rather than storing them, so empty and rinse it shortly after use.

Care

Wash gently by hand using mild soap and dry immediately after use. Avoid abrasive cleaners.

Do not place over direct heat or flame. Not suitable for the microwave or dishwasher.

Inspect before each use. Stop using if the surface becomes damaged or pitted, or if you notice green or blue residue or a metallic taste.
